Honeywell Home 20x25x5 CF508D2025 MERV 10 FPR 8 Box Air Filter

I purchased this at Home Depot for over , and in the course of trying to install it, I did some damage to the housing—specifically, there is some slight bending and tearing of the cardboard frame of the filter.
I don't believe that this would affect filtration, and I
would still use the filter if I could get it to fit into our HVAC unit, but Honeywell’s 20x25x5 filter measures 4 15/16” wide, whereas our system only takes a 20x25x5 filter up to 4 3/8” wide.
After I realized that I couldn’t use or return the filter, I took the pictures for this listing and wrapped the filter in cling wrap, in order to keep it clean.
