I would like to introduce you to a book
that my wife and I recently had published, titled:
MILLION DOLLAR PARTY
This is the story of our lives, and the drama surrounding our restaurant and bar. We spent years engrossed in laying the groundwork, which led to our ambition getting off the ground.
We opened Bob’s Gridiron Grille and the Pigskin Pub in Lincoln, Nebraska, known worldwide as Cornhusker country. Totally convinced my one-of-a-kind collection of Nebraska football memorabilia would be a draw, I was dead wrong.
This is not a how-to-book. How could it be? We failed. We’re not qualified to tell anybody anything, other than what we experienced.
This memoir delves into the why, the wherefore, and the what. Why did I want a restaurant? What did we do to plan for our venture, and what exactly happened?
Nothing turned out the way we designed; instead, our dream turned into something out of a horror story.
I should have listened to Susan, who was supportive, though skeptical. More than once, she pointed out, “A restaurant involves hard work, long hours, employee problems, customer complaints, health inspections, and government regulations,” but I didn’t hear her.
I understand now, but I was too busy doing what I wanted to do. I had it all calculated, determined the place would be a destination spot, but things got mucked up along the way.
In telling this cautionary tale, our intent is not to rain on anyone’s parade, only to point out a few obstacles. If you are not prepared to enter this competitive and extremely oversaturated market, then what we’ve written will prove worthwhile. I wish I’d had a book like this in my hands before we started. If I had, maybe we would have done things differently, or perhaps not at all.
Once I was told by a man I greatly respected, “A smart man learns from his mistakes, but a wise man learns from the mistakes of others.”
Our sincere hope is what we have shared serves a purpose.

Our Policies
All items are shipped by delivery confirmation and tracking information.
On items with a value of 0.00 or more, those items are sent with tracking information and signature confirmation.  An adult living at your location will be required to sign for the package.  This is the policy of both Ebay and Paypal.  Any item under 0 will never be shipped with signature confirmation unless you request this service and agree to pay this additional expense.
In case of damage, all packing material must be saved and contact us and instructions will be given. In the majority of cases, we will ask that you return the item for a refund.
All items shipped to Colorado requires that we collect Colorado Sales Tax. Thank you for your understanding.
We request payment within three days on
Fixed Priced items.
We accept payment through paypal.  When you make payment through paypal, please note, we ship to the address you provide.  If you wish to send it to a friend or family member, there is an option for a gift address.  If you have any problem making a payment, please don't hesitate to contact us.

On heavy items or items that are large in nature, we ship by Fed Ex Ground and shipping includes insurance and tracking.  That means we must ship to a physical address.  This address can be a home address or work address.  Fed Ex does not ship to P.O. Boxes.
If your paypal address contains a Post Office Box, when you make payment you can select a "Gift Address" and include your physical home address or physical work address.

Please Read:
We Only ship with Delivery Confirmation and Tracking and insurance to countries outside of the United States.  There are now 180 countries that offer Tracking and Insurance on First Class Package Mail.  This is less expensive than priority mail, but still it is expensive.

ased on the policies of both Ebay and Paypal, items shipped domestically and internationally must be shipped with tracking information in order for both the SELLER and BUYER to be protected by the Paypal Protection Plan.
On our listing we state that we ship internationally by priority mail.  However, if you send us your address, I will check to see if your country offers First Class Package Mail with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance and will quote a price.  But, you must send us your full address through the Ebay Message System.
We are happy to ship in the most financially feasiblel way, we just need tracking to confirm that we sent the item and confirmation that it was delivered.  If there is a problem with the shipment, insurance is added to protect both the buyer and the seller.
Check with us on the cost if you have questions, but all items shipped will be shipped with tracking, via First Class Package Mail or by Priority Mail.
We realize it is expensive to ship from one country to another, and in some cases only priority mail is available in order to track a package, but this is a requirement.
We are happy that more and more countries are partnering together to offer tracking on First Class Package Mail, but not all countries are set up to offer tracking on First Class Postage.
If you bid, please understand these costs.
We are also required to inform you that our shipping charges do not include other fees that you may incur, such as custom fees, duties and taxes that your local country may impose on all packages coming into the country.  There is also often delays in international shipping.  We cannot control how long it will take for an item to arrive.  Thank you for your understanding in the expense and time delays when shipping an item from one country to another country.
